Teknoman - Season 1 Episode 23 In the Beginning
Blade tells the Space Knights the story of how he became involved with the Venomoids. His real name is Ness Carter and his family was aboard the deep-space research vessel "Argos" when it encountered a strange alien craft near the rings of Saturn. Thrilled at the prospect of an encounter with extra-terrestrials, they boarded the vessel, only to be attacked by frightening creatures called Teknopods, which like the Terran plant called the Venus Fly Trap, swallowed them whole.
